| More Info: | Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Now reg BM 8287- see Exp 1. Ch.20 was BM demonstrator "The Fire Engine" reg BM 8287. Broken up by T.P. Breen after crash 1953. (Hit amidships by Vauxhall Velox). Reappeared 1964. (?Another Chassis 20 - this car rebuilt on a reconditioned chassis 1929) reg WU 3989 engine SR 1404 Vanden Plas tourer By Brodgen. Then eng LT 1586 now eng 83. Much confusion over this car.
