The above photograph is chassis no. 191 according to Michael Hay's Michael Hay's "Bentley: The Vintage Years" - 1997. The book further says: "Although incorrectly identified as Chassis No. 438 registered XR 564 in Brian Smith's 'Vanden Plas - Coachbuilders', it is known that this motor is Chassis No. 191, delivered to G H Deane in May 1923, fitted with this Pullman Landaulette body at a cost of £525. Lucas lamps are fitted, and the chassis lacks front-wheel brakes."
