"Dear Mr. McLellan,

Please let me introduce myself being the wife of late Mr. Gunther Holnsteiner who passed on to me his Bentley with the Registration Number KU 9554.

I have learned from the papers of my husband (especially BDC Review May 1982, page 80f) that the car has been for years in America, Texas, in the ownership of Mr. Javier S. Leon of Hubbard, Texas, (former) member of the BDC Texas, before coming back to Europe in the later 1980ies. Looking up the website of the BDC I realised that you added some photos from that time and so the idea was born to get into contact with you as you might know Mr. Javier Leon and be able to give me his contact details or even give me information about the car. What would be of interest to me is eg: when has it been brought to America, who were the owners there, maybe there are more photos available, etc etc.?

I would be very happy hearing from you soon and send my best regards,
Sabine Menghin-Holnsteiner"
