Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1227. Olympia Show car. Engine 782 ex ch. 794 - 36U2 Zenith carburettor. Now Vanden Plas replica engine 1098 ex ch. 1097." |
