More Info: According to original Vanden Plas Coachbuilder records, this car was originally fitted with Body No. 1143 with a 4-seater Sports; red and black; 5/1925. Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1143. "Watford magnetos. 27/8/25 pistons drilled for owner. 12/10/25 5mm off base of block." Engine now KM 3085 ex ch. KM 3084 - 1105 in ch. 905."
