Michael Hay, in his book Bentley: The Vintage Years, 1997, states: "Vanden Plas body no. 1146. New - BA 1060 FA 784 S/col 1054 G/box 488 (A?). Rebuilt after accident 1930 - ?new frame? Reg EPE 555. Crashed 1946 - engine now 782 ex ch. 794. In South Africa. ?Was fitted 100 mph Supersports radiator?" |
