"Rebuilt over a ten year period, this "Mother Gun" Replica is arguably the most authentic Team Le Mans replica ever accomplished. The specification is EXACTLY correct, with magnificent detailing that simply cannot now be replicated or repeated.
The engine has been completely bullet-proofed with new Phoenix crank and rods, new cam and rockers, new Cosworth forged, high- compression pistons, Tony Stairs rebuilt magnetos and rolling-road tuned Sloper carbs.
All the coachwork fittings, locks, dooor-sill plates, doors and much of the leatherwork are original Vanden Plas. Each and every instrument is period, correct Works Team kit, including the very rare Jaeger Chronographe clock. Original tools, handbook, album of Works Racing photos, framed photographs and paintings and a full file of invoices are included.
This very special car is much admired and several-times copied. It is at the very peak of its powers and offers a superb choice for Home, Continent or Peking-to-Paris ! It is a joy to experience both at rest and at full chase. Never, ever to be repeated."
