"My father emigrated with his mother and sister to Australia in 1926. The ship called at Fremantle in November of that year. He returned to England in 1930. Whilst he was in Australia he was employed at some time as a chauffeur for a Dr. Davies, who lived in Sydney. The car he drove was a Bentley. I am led to believe it was the first imported into Australia. I have a photograph of the car. The registration plate is NSW 168-468. I understand that Dr. Davies' son was later killed in the same car. Some of the above information has come to me from my brother-in-law. I would like to confirm the truth of the story.
