As described in Michael Hay's "Bentley: The Vintage Years" - 1997: "This Rippon saloon is fitted to a 1923/1924 Standard chassis with Pirelli tyres and the double silencer, and raised Lucas headlamps. The owners crest can be seen on the rear door. This could be Chassis No. 1137, delivered to Eric D Mackintosh in June 1925 with Rippon saloon coachwork."
