Bentley
"I was wondering if you had any record of XW 3623, it was owned by Edward Coe in the 1930s. Edward Coe was founder member and Scout Master of the 1st Norwich Sea Scout group. The group still has the art above, and the steering wheel and Bentley badge."

Text below the drawing:
"This is to record our appreciation of the 3 litre Bentley No. XW 3623 owned and driven by our skipper, Capt. E.H. Coe, M.C.

It was our privilege to drive and care for this aristocrat among cars, designed and built by those whose name and reputation will always rank first in the history of cars on road and track.

We have known other cars more powerful, some more elegant perhaps, and a few even faster, but there was something about the Bentley which these others lacked -- an indefinable air of good breeding plus a tradition of bull-dog toughness, gained by repeated successes in motor racing.

And now that XW 3623 must pass on, may its proud spirit find honourable rest in the peaceof the 'pleasant parking-places'."
