Welcome to the Vintagebentleyregister.com

Here's a quick update on why the site has been re-launched - why the address is different - why it looks quite similar - what our plans are for the future - how you an help this resource become more complete

Why have we built this site - when the old site - vintagebentleys.org - still appears to be online?

- Robert Mclellan started the original web site back in 2007 and commissioned some people offshore to help out. The site grew and thanks to contributions from around the world became the definitive Vintage Bentley online resource. In 2020 Robert lost control of access to the site and domain - vintagebentleys.org . Sad to see the hard work Robert had invested in the project become dormant, some of his friends and fellow vintage Bentley owners decided to help him bring the site to life again and using a new domain - www.vintagebentleyregister.com and most of the old content. As before, readers are invited to contribute with any information they have on any Vintage Bentley chassis and we'll update records on the cars.

Why does it look like the old site?

- We wanted the site to look familiar to those who had used it before, but just wanted it to be responsive to work on mobile phones which are so prevalent in web access today. 

What are the future plans for the site?

- Initially we just want to bring Robert's resource back to life and provide current owners with an opportunity to update records on their cars, provide details of events where you can enjoy Vintage Bentley's with like minded enthusiasts and of course find out about Vintage Bentley Cars and parts for sale.

How can I contribute information to the site relating to an individual Vintage Bentley?
